Milu deer, nicknamed "sibuxiang," or "animal like none of the four," are under first-class national protection in China. They have a horse-like face, a donkey-like tail, cow-like hooves, and stag-like antlers. To protect the precious species, China has established three reserves, including the Shishou Milu Deer National Nature Reserve in Hubei Province, to enlarge the population. In the 1990s, the Shishou reserve introduced 64 milu deer from abroad in two batches. The number of milu deer in the reserve has grown to around 2,500 over the past three decades. Mazda puts new Mazda Atenza midsize car on market

TOKYO, Japan - Mazda Motor Corp. on May 20 introduced to the market a new midsize car, the Mazda Atenza, featuring low fuel consumption and emissions. The Mazda Atenza went on sale in two models -- a five-door ''SPORT'' model, which is priced between 2 million yen and 2.3 million yen, and a four-door ''SEDAN'' model priced between 1.8 million yen and 2.36 million yen. The new model is available with a newly developed 2300-cc four-cylinder DOHC engine or a newly developed 2000-cc four-cylinder engine.

In a statement, the authority added the service, which will be offered for the first time, will cover capitals of governorates only, in addition to Edfu and Kom Ombo stations. It said the new and fast service will start on the Cairo-Aswan line on Tuesday, explaining that other lines will also be included in the newly introduced service soon. In late Dec. 2021, Egypt announced the retirement of the old railway carriages running on its 10,000-kilometer railway tracks, which currently transport up to 1.1 million passengers on a daily basis. Kanden Engineering's Newly Introduced VR Device for Experiencing Danger

Kanden Engineering Co., Ltd. (Kita Ward, Osaka City) expanded its facilities for experiencing dangerous acts during construction, inspection, and diagnosis of electrical equipment, etc., and opened the new "Safety and Technology Training Center" (Settsu City, Osaka Prefecture) on April 14. The facility will be used to train about 600 people a year, including all employees and subcontractors. The company analyzed past occupational accidents such as electric shock, crashes and falls, and equipment accidents caused by mishandling, and compiled a booklet with mottoes and lessons learned, "100 Failures of Engineering Version," which took two years to complete.
